Hello, I didn’t post anything last week and don’t have anything planned for this week (as I type). I hunkered down the last two weeks to work on and finish the interior artwork for “Spiders Are Helpful,” which is going to be a collection of 1 panel gags about spiders. I recently scanned the strips and did basic cleanup. There’s a few other things to do like tones/patterns if needed, then layout, and then the cover. That may or may not be a lot of work, but I consider the project close to being finished, so there. I put off The Indictment because I don’t know how many more pages I’m doing for that. 10? 15? Since I am getting my copies of Robots With Coffee #5 this week, and can likely have “Spiders Are Helpful” ready/printed by mid-February, that’ll be TWO new comic books for any show I do for 2024. I am getting a lot of good feedback for the new spider pages (all updated from sketches from October) so I’m pretty excited. Below is a sample gag but I don’t know if this will be used in the comic.

By getting this comic finished, I don’t feel like I need to burnout on The Indictment which frankly is a little more timely. I SHOULD have it ready before the election, but sometimes I need to listen to the energy I have within to make these things.
