I did the lettering for the dialog a couple weeks ago. Then, it just sat on my desk for a few weeks while I tried to recover with that previously mentioned leg pain. I knew I wouldn’t be able to work on it for a bit, so I wrote the dialog out and placed it in these panels and inked them so that there’d be no question where characters should be placed in each panel. This was a wise choice, because i’d hate to pencil the characters out and then have to go back because the dialog didn’t fit or there wasn’t as much punch to it and I had to re-do that as well.

The other thing is, what’s a great source of literal comedy? A courtroom. What do I hate drawing? A courtroom.
