I heard the phrase in the news after the guy who (allegedly) shot the health care CEO was caught. “he’s hired a high-powered attorney” and I thought about them needing a power outlet. I hope that’s clear in panel 2 – that there’s an outlet and the lawyer has a AC cord. I put them in the middle of the image, which I realize now might not’ve been ideal for the gag. But A. I wanted to get the view from over the shoulder of the judge, and B. I hate drawing courtroom scenes. Which is awful because you’d think I’d be getting better from so many lawyer or legal gags.
