There’s a tunnel at the end of the light! Or, some buildings at the end of the forest! The next strip will be a full pager. Note the four panels, how they’re squished/horizontal. This is what I realized I should have done with the end of part 7, especially because the page leads from regular size vertical panels in a 3 panel part, to a 4 part smaller panel series, and then part 8 was just a full page of smaller panels (amounting to 6 a strip for 18 in a full page). I won’t be going back to fix that, but I think it works here, because of Mal making his way through the forest that seemed endless (especially in the beginning of this part, where he just runs into Mr. Tree again).
