Okay, so, the Mayor hits Eddie and a shockwave rips apart part of the forest and their homes. I thought I’d show an immediate reaction. So, here’s the first part. There will be FOUR strips this week, the dimensions are a little shorter. There will also be a recap on Friday.

NEWS: I wasn’t planning on doing any comic shows the rest of the year, because I wasn’t invited (why would i be?) OR I didn’t apply for some reason or another. WELL, a couple shows are possible for me. Because I made the last strip a double pager, I had to expand the story to 23 pages instead of 21. And that’s with these dimensions shrunk down to four strips a page instead of 3!

With 4.5 pages remaining (I was halfway to inking this one), I contacted my printer and asked him how much time I’d have to hand him the files so I can pick up some of a print order in less than two weeks. I need to be finished by October 20th. I did some math and, yeah, I might be able to swing that. So I knucked down and did a few pages this weekend. I need to finish the other 2 pages, and a cover (and back cover!), and layout, and also check for any errors…in a week before you read this.

I have strips for this week (Mal & Dee 19) and next week (Mal & Dee 20). MD 21, I’m finishing up – it should be a 1 pager. MD 22 will be 3 strips, and then MD 23 will be a 1 pager. Hooray!

Oh, Cubs got eliminated. I don’t know how I feel about the Brewers chances against the Dodgers, yet they DID sweep them during the year. I don’t know about the Mariners either – I just want the underdog to go the distance.
