It’s been a minute since we last saw a Mort Inkingbot gag. I have a bunch written down in a notebook I need to work out the perfect setup for the punchline. Often I work backwards even though the phrase/pun is in the first panel. Originally in the first panel, the guy on the write was saying everything. “Sorry your movie bombed, but I found the perfect follow up vehicle for you.” Then I thought if the first guy said something, so I changed it all. Which worked out because I messed up the word balloon anyway, giving the first part to the first guy. Whoops!

Thought about zipatones for this week’s strips, but nah. They might feel a little naked, but I’m a little clumsy.
