This gag could have been done without robots, or rather with people. But, it’s a gag, and I made it.

I started the first panel with word balloons at the top, but then realized how much of the plane and airport control tower would be cut off by the word balloon’s tail (or whatever they’re called). So I erased the pencils, moved the plane and tower (and added a plane in the sky) further top, and had the dialog in the negative space between the plane and the robots who are talking. In the next panel, the word balloon is at the very top, as they are in most of my comic strips. Read horizontally, this might be a little more difficult to read left to right. I think it will be okay though. Another fun throwaway 2 panel gag while I work on two longer strips as we get closer to #400. Also, it’s about baseball.
