I used to be obsessed with MechWarrior (Battletech) robots. A lot of them have missile launchers inside of them. I don’t know how safe that is for the driver/pilot (making it a vehicle, not exactly a robot?) or practical having a bipedal anthropomorphic vehicle would fare in actual warfare: tripping on uneven terrain, being a tall vertical target, etc. Look, they’re just cool robot lookin’ things, even if they’re not robots.

In this case, I started drawing him with the launchers in his chest, and then I thought it’d be funny to give him tiny arms. Then, casual walking shoes. How does he reach that far down to tie his shoes? Poor guy.
