“You should have complied” – drew this at least over a month ago, maybe longer. I haven’t drawn much in the last two months. This sat on my scanner and then I saw others making the same joke. D’oh! I also went back and added panels 4 & 5 to not have such a big jump from 3 to 6. You can tell by the panel sizes, I guess. I’m sure it’d still work with 1, 2, 3, 6…but i felt like I should add more dialog and then a setting for further context. But the whole reason why i made this was for “cops who play by their OWN rules,” which was the kind of TV & movie entertainment we got in the 70s & 80s, and is pretty standard I guess. You’ve seen Hot Fuzz, right? Where the characters have to take time to write up police reports? That cracked me up a lot, you never see that in the movies.

I’ve said it before: I love John Carpenter’s Christine, but I always wonder what Harry Dean Stanton’s filed police report was for the end of the film.

ALSO, you may have noticed that I said last week there would be only two posts that week, but I ended up with four – three of which were movie reviews. I ended up watching a lot of dumb sci-fi movies (one of which is regarded as a classic). I hope you enjoyed those observations! I don’t know if I’ll try to resume a “5 posts a week, 3 weeks a month” schedule again. Did anyone care? I gotta get back to drawing more. Putting together RwC issue 3 took a lot out of me, can you believe that? I just didn’t want to look at my own drawings anymore. Not a good sign. Thank you if you want to look at my drawings.
