Less a punchline and more a commentary gag? It was a quickie for sure – I drew a different television in each panel, but then deleted the TVs in panels 2 & 3 and copied the TV from panel 1. There you go. What’s the commentary? I don’t know, I think all the back & forth people have with each other about the superhero movies and how often they restart (and now reference the original versions). Like, is this all there is to life? Especially if you’re disappointed? Anyway, it was one I kinda drew while hanging out and didn’t throw it out, it’s not a typical Mort gag.
