We’re back! Whoops, I was full steam ahead and got this page finished and then I got sick. I was sick the whole weekend, too. As I type, I have half of next week’s Mal & Dee strips done BUT just in case I DON’T finish that page I have a Mort Inkingbot comic ready. Hopefully I can get the material for Mal & Dee #2 ready for November. Progress!

There aren’t any zipatone patterns in this week’s strips. I don’t know why I mention that, but I establish an office space of some kind in that 2nd panel and then it’s just them talking the remainder of the page with little background detail.

I went to all 3 Cubs vs Giants games in Chicago and then a Cubs/Colorado game a week later. Giants look baaaaad but there’s some bright spots: JUNG HOO LEE!

I picked up a bunch of Beach Boys cds – each CD has two albums, which they did for everything save for the xmas album and Pet Sounds. Some of the early albums have instrumentals and covers that don’t end up on “best ofs,” but it’s all pretty good stuff.
