I was hesitant to start working on this strip because I didn’t know if, for the page, it would be 3 strips or 4 strips. Dee needs a recap of what Mal was up to all day. He also needs to have some opinion about Mal’s opportunity. I wrote it out to be 3 panels but I thought that it needs to become an Abbott & Costello routine as far as sectioning out those questions. What do you mean someone you JUST met gave you job? Just like That? Who are you replacing? And WHY are you replacing the person you JUST met? This ended up being my favorite dialog so far!
