And there you go! I may go back and add some tones in either of the first two panels to differentiate the walls. Their apartment appeared a few pages ago, or at least Mal was walking toward in page 33. It’s the one on the right. I drew Patch to just be standing there on the far left, with his hands to his side, but I changed it. It will be arranged slightly differently when it’s printed. I could have probably done this page differently, like another 4 panel, with Dee leaving the apartment and someone watching from afar, and then in the 4th panel it’s Patch.

So, NOT ONLY do we have a RECAP below, but keep scrolling – I included the script! It’s mostly dialog – I have the layout in my mind. I KNOW what I want to happen, but unlike the jokes in a Mort Inkingbot strip, there’s a story, so I need to make sure the dialog flow is there, and that it sticks to the plot. And then I also gave myself an alternate plan for the 2nd strip of the week, 3 panels and 4 panels. There’s a few notes about the layout but almost zero on detail needed for the art. That’s all in my mind for the last few months.
